About Health & Social Care
If you want to work in the health and social care sector, look no further. Our courses can give you the knowledge and skills you need to work in this rewarding industry. Covering health and social care, adult social care, healthcare support and wellbeing, our offering can help you start your dream role.
The majority of courses are taught at our Quarry Hill Campus and Annexe, with some delivered at our Eastgate Centre. Our experienced staff come from vocationally relevant backgrounds – we have midwives, social workers, practising nurses, operating department practitioners, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) practitioners, occupational therapists, care workers, clinical support workers, and more teaching our courses.
With links to many established organisations, including Leeds City Council, Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust and St Mary’s Hospital, you can be confident you will gain valuable, practical experience local to the College.
Looking for a different way of learning? Our T Level in Health may suit you. This two-year technical qualification combines academic learning with an industry placement – allowing you to gain valuable experience within the sector.
Or, if you’re keen to start working now, an apprenticeship could be for you. Employed in your role from day one, you will work towards a nationally recognised qualification while learning on the job.
Full information about our T Levels and apprenticeships can be found on our dedicated website pages.
Safeguarding
We are committed to making sure all students and staff are protected from harm. All staff are trained in safeguarding and child protection, and our dedicated Safeguarding team is on hand for advice and support. Don’t stay silent, we are here for you.
