Introduction

Senior Healthcare Support Workers deliver expert, compassionate, and high-quality health and social care across a number of healthcare settings. This Level 3 apprenticeship prepares students to provide quality care to a diverse range of patients.

Overview

Senior Healthcare Support Workers carry out a range of duties including, but not limited to, clinical, therapeutic and diagnostic responsibilities. Work is carried out under direct or indirect supervision and plays a key role in supporting patient care. To complement knowledge and skill, individuals taking this Level 3 apprenticeship complete an occupational specialism.
