Our expectations card, given to you at the start of your time with us, is a reminder of our culture. This is how we will behave towards you and how we expect you to act during your time at college.

How we will behave towards you:

Our ‘I’m IN’ strategy promotes an inclusive culture so that all students feel welcome.

Students can expect to be:

  • INFLUENTIAL by having a voice in college
  • Proactive, make INCREDIBLE progress and be the best you can be.

We ask that students treat each other and our staff with respect, kindness and honesty. We promote open communication and encourage positive relationships across the college.

We will not tolerate behaviours that negatively affect students or staff – including bullying, discrimination, sexual harassment and threatening behaviour. If this does happen, we encourage you to talk to your tutors or a member of staff. We will work with the students involved to repair harm and ensure negative behaviour is not repeated.

If someone’s behaviour is unsafe or you are worried about them, you can report it to the Stay Safe team by clicking on this link.

We want to make sure that you get the most out of your time at college, and this is only possible if you attend your classes.

If for any reason you cannot make your lesson, you must let us know. Call our attendance line on 0800 652 0335 and provide your student ID number, reason for absence and your tutor’s name.
