What Our Students Say

“Because I’ve got autism and I’d sometimes have trouble understanding things – because I need stuff breaking down into detail and explaining to me in a perfect way, in a much more understanding way, I have tutors that understand me a bit more.”

About Engineering & Manufacturing

Electrical, manufacturing, mechanical – whichever branch of engineering you are interested in, we have courses to help you prepare for further study or employment. Based at our Printworks Campus, you will learn from engineering experts in our industry-standard facilities.

Our courses are varied and interesting – in addition to teaching you skills and knowledge specific to your chosen specialism, you will receive training in health and safety and employer-sought engineering principles.

Fully-equipped workshops house all you need to engineer success. Whether it’s working on cars, wiring installations, or welding, you will gain practical experience in environments that prepare you for the world of employment. By the end of your course, you will be ready to start work in your chosen field, or progress to further study.

If you’re looking for a different learning experience, we offer apprenticeships and T Levels. Engineering apprenticeships are a great way to learn as you do the job – you’ll earn a wage, and on successful completion, gain a recognised qualification. T Levels combine the hands-on experience of working for a real company with academic learning. We offer three T Levels within engineering and manufacturing. Both apprenticeships and T Levels can help get you to university or progress straight into employment.
