This course gives you a good grounding in welding, with a focus on creating artistic products from scrap metal. You’ll gain practical training, mainly using the Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding process. Ideally you’ll have completed the introduction to welding first.

This course is very practical, working on machines in our extensive workshops. You’ll use tools such as MIG welders, angle grinders, cut off saws, pillar drills, brazing equipment, oxy propane torches, plasma cutters, and hand tools. You’ll develop ideas and create metal art.
