At Leeds City College, our goal is to ensure every student can take steps towards success! We create learning environments where you can achieve your full potential and we offer exceptional opportunities to develop your skills further. Explore our full course offering below to see how your future could take shape!
Vocational courses allow you to specialise in your chosen subject, learning essential theory and gaining valuable practical skills which will help you pursue your dream career. Designed around the needs of each industry, you gain knowledge and skills relevant to that industry as it operates today.
Available from Levels 1 to 3 (subject dependent), once completed you can progress to further study, higher education, apprenticeships or employment.
From aviation to graphic design, health and social care to engineering, we offer vocational courses in a vast range of subjects.
If you’re over 16 and want to start a job – why not work and get a qualification at the same time?
Apprenticeships are work-based training programmes designed around the needs of employers, which lead to nationally recognised qualifications.
You will be employed from the word go and receive a wage and support from a company that is committed to your development. Our training programmes can be delivered both in the workplace and at college.
Whether you have an idea of the industry in which you want to work, or you just want to know more about the apprenticeships out there, we can help.
T Levels offer an unique opportunity to gain industry-specific skills and qualifications that can jump-start your career. Say goodbye to the traditional classroom-based approach and embrace a hybrid learning style.
Designed as an alternative to A levels for 16–19-year-olds, T Levels are a two-year programme that focuses on practical skills that are highly valued by employers.
This type of learning is ideal for individuals who benefit from both theoretical and practical experience, as the course is made up of 80% classroom work and 20% work experience.
