Located at Leeds Dock by the River Aire, our new campus will provide a welcoming, modern environment where students can develop the knowledge, practical skills and confidence they need to make a difference in people’s lives.
Students at Leeds Dock campus will study Health Science and Social Care at different levels, with courses designed to support a range of interests, abilities and career aspirations within the sector.
The campus will include a range of spaces and facilities, including modern classrooms, a large dining and social area, dedicated safeguarding spaces, quiet reflection rooms and a wellbeing hub to help students throughout their time at college.
Leeds Dock is a vibrant and cultural part of the city, with the Royal Armouries Museum just around the corner from the campus, alongside a mix of cafes and shops. Students can also explore the city in a different way, with the Leeds Water Taxi offering a fun way to travel between the docks and Leeds Station along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal.

Get some fresh air on your way to and from college – walking has many benefits from physical fitness to improved mental health. You can set your own pace and know that you’re doing your bit for the environment by walking into college.

Coming from further afield, or wanting to beat the traffic? Cycling is a great form of exercise providing plenty of health benefits, as well as being kind to the environment.
Visit the Leeds City Bikes Scheme for more information about hiring a bike – this option may work out as more affordable than buying a bike, and is convenient if you don’t have storage at home for your own bike. And explore local cycle routes here!
Fun fact – regular cycling can improve sleep – improved sleep has a huge amount of health benefits.
With the train and bus stations within walking distance of Leeds Dock campus, public transport is more eco-friendly than driving and offers regular services within Leeds and to neighbouring towns and cities. Student tickets tend to be lower in cost than adult tickets and railcards and passes, where available, offer discounted prices. Fun fact – Leeds used to have a tram network – it was closed down in the late 50s. Trams are set to return to Leeds in 2030.
Accessible via a number of major roads through Leeds, it is possible to drive to us, however, we encourage all staff and students to use alternative methods of transport where possible. Our campus is conveniently located for access by bus and bike, and the train station is less than twenty minutes walk away.
If travelling by car is your preferred method of transport, why not car share? It can save you money by splitting the cost of fuel and parking, is better for the environment in that it can reduce congestion and if you sign up for a lift share scheme you could make new friends.
Fun fact – car sharing can speed up your journey as it allows you to use the 2+ person lanes – handy at peak travel times.
