Leeds T Level Health Celebration 2025: Honouring Excellence in Healthcare Education

We have been celebrating achievements in Health T Levels. The event, held in collaboration with the Leeds Healthcare Academy at our Printworks Campus in June, brought together students, educators, and representatives from leading healthcare organisations.

The ceremony opened with a welcoming speech from Kate O’Connell, setting the tone for an afternoon of recognition and celebration.

Attendees included figures from across the sector, including representatives from: Leeds Healthcare Academy, Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, Leeds Community Health Trust, Leeds and York Partnership Trust, and Leeds City Council.

The vital role of employers

Principal of our Quarry Hill Campus, Suzy Gallagher, presented certificates to students and highlighted the essential role that employers play in shaping the success of learners through placements and ongoing support.

A total of eight students received special awards recognising their dedication, progress, and excellence.

The winners in the Employer Outstanding Achievement Awards category were: Ruby Cockin – Leeds Community Health Trust; Ruby Dakin – Leeds and York Partnership Trust; Kayden Myers – Leeds Teaching Hospitals.

Individual excellence

The Individual Awards winners, meanwhile, were: The Most Improved: Caitlin Murrey; Resilience Award: Khaiyahe Jones; Above and Beyond: Phebe Firth; Rising Star: Aimee Pinder; Student of the Year: Zoe Holmes.

The day was a true reflection of the success of the T Level in Health programme and its role in building a stronger, more skilled future workforce for the healthcare sector in Leeds and beyond.
