Course Information
Introduction
This programme allows students to gain an understanding of a team leader/supervisor role. A team leader/supervisor is a first line management role with operational or project responsibilities and the responsibility for managing a team to deliver a clearly defined outcomes.
Overview
With this apprenticeship, you will learn how to provide clear directions, instructions and guidance to others to ensure the achievement of set goals. You could work in the private, public or third sector. Though your specific responsibilities will vary, the knowledge skills and behaviours needed will be the same regardless.

Team Leader
As a team leader you will support management and stand in for management when they are out of the office. In addition, you will assist with the hiring process, provide high-quality customer service, conduct team meetings and help train and mentor team members. Supervisor As a supervisor you will supervise team members in duties and performances. In addition, you will provide feedback from the team to management, train new team members in company standards and create a positive working environment.
