Once you’re registered for a qualification, you’ll?need to join?the CIPD as a Student Member?from the start of your studies. It’s essential to maintain your Student Membership until your studies are completed. Your CIPD membership and qualification work together to ensure your knowledge is recognised both inside and outside the People Profession. When you complete your qualification, you’ll be awarded CIPD Associate Membership, and the designation “Assoc CIPD” after your name. Entry requirements

This qualification is suitable for Learners from age 18 and are experienced in HR, usually having completed a level 3 qualification. There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, but as a Learner you will ideally be working within an organisation or role where you can demonstrate skills and apply knowledge. Alternatively, you could draw on previous experience within an organisation or use an organisation you are familiar with.

Available Apprenticeships and Progression options

You will be able to apply for higher level roles within HR, specialise in specific areas within HR or to progress onto the CIPD Advanced Diploma in Strategic People Management or Advanced Diploma in Strategic Learning & Development

Assessment types

Learners will be assessed by a variety of means, primarily via written assessments; however there will be a variety of methods across each of the units. Assessments will include: Reports, Scenarios, Case studies, Presentations, Reflections on own experience etc.
