Overseeing the care service and leading care teams to support adults with a range of care needs. This Level 5 apprenticeship will prepare candidates for the rigours of the leadership without compromising their values of compassion and care.
Overview
Employed in a variety of healthcare settings such as residential homes and community centres, as well as private homes, Leaders in Adult Care manage and inspire care teams to positively impact the lives of adults facing various challenges. The role is multifaceted and interesting with duties including service leadership, staff training, financial management and driving organisational change. As with all roles within the sector, the key values required are care, compassion, courage, communication, competence, and commitment.
