Introduction
Kick start your engineering career with this programme. You will study a selection of core topics including health and safety, environmental awareness, and engineering principles. You will have the opportunity to choose from three specified skills pathways; maintenance, machining or fabrication and welding each with specific units tailored towards an engineering skills pathway.

Entry requirements
GCSEs English and maths at grade 3 and preferably a grade 3 in a science based subject.
Available apprenticeships and progression options
Progression may include a level 3 qualification*, an apprenticeship, or relevant employment.
*Progression to T Level Engineering would be possible with an appropriate grade profile from level 2 Qualification
