Course Information
Introduction
Develop advanced skills in early years education, supporting children’s learning, development, and well-being. This Level 3 apprenticeship prepares students for senior roles in nurseries, preschools, and childcare settings.
Overview
This apprenticeship provides in-depth training to support children up to age 5 in their learning and development. Apprentices gain experience in a childcare setting while studying key topics such as child development, safeguarding and special educational needs (SEN).
Entry requirements
Typically applicants should have a genuine passion for supporting children’s development and well-being, in addition to GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and maths at Grade 4/C or above, or the willingness to work towards these qualifications during the apprenticeship.
