Computer Science
Learn how to develop valuable thinking and programming skills, using coding platforms such as Scratch and Python, to plan, write, test and evaluate a simple coded program. Understand the components that make up digital systems and how they communicate with one another, and other systems, and the impact of digital technology to the individual and to wider society.
Course Information
The course will also cover the moral and legal issues such as spreading information, the right to privacy, risks to people's data, environmental issues such as recycling. These skills lead to progression that are extremely attractive in the modern workplace.
Assessment types:
You will complete a project and sit an end of year exam in May /June 2021
