Course Information

Introduction

An exciting new course available for adults who are considering a career in the legal field or considering university soon. This programme is aimed at adult learners wishing to pursue a career in the legal profession and will provide skills that they can put into practice in the field of Law. Students will develop a range of practical skills that they can practice in the workplace and use to enhance their career.

Course units/modules

  • Dispute solving in civil law
  • Aspects of criminal law
  • The legal system
  • Applying the law
  • Contract law
  • Aspects of family law

Entry requirements

Successful interview and English and maths GCSE grade 3 or above (or equivalent)

This course will prepare learners for higher education courses such as university or to work in various roles within the legal system.

Working within the legal sector, including:

  • Administration assistant in a solicitor’s office
  • Working in a court setting
