Overview
The Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship at Blenheim Primary School offers a rewarding opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and inclusive educational environment while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. Over the 15–18 month programme, apprentices will develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to provide high-quality classroom support and help pupils reach their full potential.
The role involves working closely with teachers and school staff to support learning, promote positive behaviour, and ensure pupils feel safe, included, and encouraged within the classroom. Apprentices will assist with classroom preparation, learning activities, literacy and numeracy support, and behaviour management, while also helping to meet the individual needs of pupils, including those requiring additional support.
This apprenticeship provides an excellent foundation for a long-term career in education, with progression opportunities into full-time Teaching Assistant roles, SEN support positions, Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) roles, or future teacher training pathways.
