Rosemont Pharmaceuticals are looking for an Apprentice Engineer to support the maintenance, reliability and efficiency of manufacturing equipment and site facilities whilst completing a Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Technician (Dual Discipline) apprenticeship. Overview

The Apprentice Engineer role at Rosemont Pharmaceuticals is a Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Technician (Dual Discipline) apprenticeship that combines practical workplace experience with college-based learning. The role involves supporting the maintenance, reliability, safety, and efficiency of manufacturing equipment and site facilities within a pharmaceutical environment. Responsibilities include carrying out planned preventative maintenance, assisting with equipment breakdowns and repairs, supporting facilities operations, updating engineering documentation, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Throughout the 45-month apprenticeship, apprentices develop both mechanical and electrical engineering skills, alongside problem-solving, teamwork, and technical knowledge, providing a strong foundation for a long-term career in engineering and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Training to be Delivered

The apprenticeship includes studying the Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Technician (Dual Discipline) qualification through Luminate Education Group. Training will take place at Printworks Campus in Leeds, with attendance required one day per week. Throughout the programme, apprentices will develop skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault finding, equipment testing, health and safety procedures, engineering documentation, problem-solving, and the use of industry-standard tools and technologies. The training combines classroom learning with practical workplace experience to build the knowledge and competencies required for a career in engineering maintenance.
