Overview
The Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship at Noah’s Ark Childcare offers a fantastic opportunity to begin a rewarding career in childcare while gaining valuable hands-on experience and a nationally recognised qualification. Over the 16-month programme, apprentices will develop the practical skills and confidence needed to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing within a safe and nurturing environment.
Working alongside experienced childcare professionals, the apprentice will help plan engaging activities, support children through play-based learning, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive setting where every child can thrive. The role also involves assisting with daily routines, maintaining records, promoting safeguarding and safety, and building strong relationships with children, staff, and families.
Through structured training with Leeds City College and real workplace experience, apprentices will strengthen important skills such as communication, teamwork, organisation, creativity, and patience, while gaining a deeper understanding of child development and early years education.
This apprenticeship provides an excellent foundation for future progression into Level 3 Early Years Educator qualifications and long-term career opportunities within childcare, including senior practitioner, room leader, safeguarding, SEN support, or nursery management roles.
