Overview

They provide technical leadership, manage critical projects, and collaborate with industry and academia. Responsible for ethical, innovative research, they assess new scientific methods, identify risks, and make strategic recommendations. They lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee significant budgets, and serve as role models within their organisations. Daily interactions involve diverse individuals and teams, ensuring research aligns with organisational goals and drives scientific and commercial advancement.
