Overview
Engineering Manufacturing Technicians collect and analyse data to support product design, manufacturing, testing, and maintenance, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. They produce technical documentation and collaborate with managers, production teams, quality engineers, customers, and regulators. Working in offices, manufacturing floors, or on-site, they balance operational and administrative tasks. Responsible for delivering products on time and within budget, they apply technical knowledge and judgment to solve complex problems and improve processes. Reporting to engineering or manufacturing managers, they ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, contributing to continuous improvement across their organisation.

Entry requirements
The employer will agree to entry requirements for these apprenticeships. There are no formal entry requirements but GCSE grade 4 and above or equivalent in English and Maths would be an advantage.
