Course Information

Introduction

Apprentices learn to provide high quality, compassionate care in a range of healthcare settings. Work is varied and interesting, with tasks depending on the needs of individuals in apprentices’ care.

Overview

Healthcare Support Workers can be found in hospitals, carehomes and general practice, as well as visiting patients in their own homes. Apprentices will perform clinical duties in line with training and experience, and gain experience working with patients, medical professionals, social care staff and administrative personnel.
