They use conventional and CNC machines to create parts from metal or specialist materials. Their role includes interpreting technical information, setting up machines, adjusting tool settings, and validating CNC programs.They inspect components, report issues, and support continuous improvement. Technicians are responsible forquality, safety, and efficiency, working both independently and in teams. They must follow health, safety, and environmental regulations and maintain tools and equipment. They often interact with team leaders, colleagues, customers, and quality or regulatory personnel.
