The role involves working independently and as part of a team, communicating with researchers, veterinary staff, and inspectors. Responsibilities include planning and managing tasks in line with legislation such as the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986. Their work supports high standards of research while ensuring animal welfare is prioritised at all times.
