Floorstore group are looking for an apprentice to join the team at head office located near Pontefract Lane, Leeds. Floorstore are a Leeds based family owned flooring company with multiple retail outlets, online business and trade arm that have been a leader in the flooring space since 1961.
Overview
Key tasks include:
- Processing orders via the Company system as they come in
- Responsible for logging, keying, tracking stock
- Identify and reduce unallocated stock
- Type any correspondence including letters
- Liaising with fitters, site contacts, sales teams and customer service
- Arranging fitting appointments and work with live fitting diary
- Assist with booking in on computer system and warehouse deliveries
- Assist with the Central Distribution transfers and allocations of stock to customer orders
- Point of contact for incoming calls
- Ensure completion notes are received on time and properly documented with completed forms from fitters for invoice purposes
The role will provide the candidate with the below additional learning:
- Opportunity to work off plans from scaled drawings
- Gaining knowledge on flooring products and understanding floor fitting procedures
- Learning Health & Safety procedures
