Promoting digital inclusion and accessible learning
Posted: May 29, 2025
Students at The Vine developed an innovative project using BrightSign Gloves, a cutting-edge tool that translates sign language into speech, as part of the college’s wider digital inclusion initiative.
This hands-on experience allowed students to explore the intersection of technology and accessibility, developing practical skills while contributing to a more inclusive learning environment.
Inclusive education is a core focus across the college . Through our teacher training programmes and curriculum design, we actively promote teaching methods that are accessible, representative, and empowering for all learners.
Initiatives like this not only equip students with technical and creative skills but also foster awareness, empathy, and a commitment to ensuring education works for everyone, regardless of ability or background.
