Introduction

Kick start your engineering career with this programme. You will study a selection of core topics including health and safety, environmental awareness, and engineering principles. You will have the opportunity to choose from three specified skills pathways; maintenance, machining or fabrication and welding each with specific units tailored towards an engineering skills pathway.

Who is this course for?

If you’re in year 11 or 12 and are looking to take the first steps towards your career in engineering these courses are for you. Our vast selection of vocational courses span a range of subjects and combine academic study with practical skills. Study in industry standard facilities and use our industry links to prepare for progression.

Entry requirements
