About this event

Thinking about your options this September but still unsure what to do next?

Whether you need help finding a course, are still looking for somewhere to study or have applied elsewhere and changed your mind, our Enrolment team can help everything fall into place.

Drop in during enrolment on any of the following dates for advice:

  • Monday 24th August, 10am – 4pm
  • Tuesday 25th August, 10am – 4pm
  • Wednesday 26th August, 10am – 7pm
  • Thursday 27th August, 10am – 4pm
  • Friday 28th August, 10am – 4pm

Our friendly staff will talk to you about your next steps. This could be advising you on your GCSE grades and options, or helping you find a course based on your interests. It’s also a great opportunity to get a feel for our campuses and facilities.

Enrolment checklist

Don’t forget to bring:

Your results
We can’t enrol you without evidence of your exam results. This could be an exam slip, letter from your school or your certificates.

National Insurance Number
Please bring proof of your NI number – this can be your National Insurance card or a tax or benefits letter

If you’re 16-18

One form of ID is required from the list below to enrol:

  • Passport
  • Driving Licence
  • ID Card or other form of national identification
  • Certificate of Entitlement to Funding
  • Bank/Credit/Debit Card
  • Bus Pass
  • Utility Bill
  • JCP Documentation
  • Other Benefit Evidence
  • Continuing Student with Leeds City College (Existing Student ID)
  • Government ID
Evidence of your nationality/residency
If you have not been living in the UK for three years before your course starts (or before 1st September 2025, if you are aged 16-18), you will need to bring evidence of your current immigration permission in the UK (for example, passport and biometric residence permit, Home Office letter, ARC card). If your immigration permission was granted on the basis of your relationship to another person, you will need to provide evidence of that relationship (for example, birth certificate, marriage/civil partnership certificate).

If you’re over 19+

If you have any previous qualifications please bring evidence of these.

You will need to bring one form of photo ID such as a:

  • Passport
  • Driving Licence
  • ID Card or other form of national identification
  • Bus Pass

Proof of address:

  • Utility Bill
  • Bank Statement
  • Council Tax Bill

If you’re not a British citizen please also bring evidence of your right to reside in the UK.
