Animal Care & Land Management Open Event April 2025

Are you interested in animal management or horticulture?

Explore all your options at our upcoming open event on Saturday 23rd November. Students are invited to come and visit our Temple Newsam Farm Campus and learn more about our Land & Animal courses. Booking is required for the potential student only, 1 ticket per family, please use the register button at the top of this page to book a free ticket.

You can arrive at any of the following time slots: 10am, 11am or 12pm.

Please note, each attendee can bring one extra person to accompany them on the day, as we cannot accommodate large groups on the farm, only the potential student is required to book a ticket. On arrival one of our wonderful students or members of staff will take you on a tour of the farm and animal care centre in small groups to show you around the fantastic facilities.

This is an excellent opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the course. You will also be given the chance to apply and be interviewed. We hope to see you there.

How to get to us

Address: Temple Newsam Home Farm, Temple Newsam Road, Leeds LS15 0BG

By bus: You can travel from East Leeds to Temple Newsam via the FlexiBus and it will bring you directly into the estate. The bus can be ordered 1 hour before it is required and operates between 7am- 7pm Monday – Saturday. Fares start from just £1.20. Alternative bus services that run in the area include the 19 and 19A. It is a short walk from the bus stop to Temple Newsam.

By train: Temple Newsam is located 1.9 miles from Cross Gates train station, an approximate 35-minute walk.

By car: From the M1 take junction 46. Temple Newsam is a short drive from this exit, there is on-site parking available.
