Vaccine pop-up clinics at Leeds City College for 16 and 17 year olds
Posted: August 31, 2021
As we begin to enter a new academic year, we want to do this as smoothly as possible by making safety a priority.
A vital part of that will depend on getting as many students vaccinated against Covid-19.
Pop-up vaccination clinic
We are working with the NHS in Leeds and Leeds City Council to invite all students to get vaccinated at our pop-up clinics; these will take place across the different campuses from Monday 6 September.
At the pop-up clinics, you will only need to have the one dose, so you will not have to get a second dose. You are welcome to turn up at any campus during the below dates and times to get your vaccine.
Vaccines will be given on a first come, first serve basis. Please see below the campus times and dates for the walk-in clinics:
Quarry Hill Campus (HE rooms 202/203)
- Monday 6 September 10am to 3pm
- Tuesday 7 September 10am to 3pm
Park Lane (University Centre Leeds, opposite Park Lane Campus)
- Wednesday 8 September 10am to 3pm
Printworks Campus (C block)
- Thursday 9 September 10am to 3pm
- Friday 10 September 10am to 3pm
To ensure student and staff safety, there will be one-way systems in place, social distancing and regular cleaning in waiting areas. We ask that you please wear a face covering to get your vaccination.
Before your vaccination, you will be asked some questions about your medical history. You will then be given the vaccine in your upper arm.
When you’ve had your vaccination, you will be asked to sit in an observation room for 15 minutes to check that you feel okay. After this time has passed, you will be able to leave the clinic.
If you have any questions, please contact your tutor.
