This course is for people working in or looking to work as assessors or internal quality assurers within the workplace. It is open to people carrying out assessment or internal quality assurance in most learning environments including further education, employment settings and the third sector.

Overview

Students will learn about the principles and practices of assessment or
internal quality assurance and how to plan and carry out assessment or internal
monitoring activities in their own area. They will attend workshops to learn the
knowledge relating to the principles and practices of assessment or IQA and have
an experienced assessor working with them to demonstrate their competence in the
workplace.
