- Work alongside a skilled Mechanical Engineer
- Assist with maintaining existing plant equipment, through reactive and planned maintenance
- Fault finding and carrying out repairs during breakdowns
- Assist with modifications of current machinery
- Assist with new installations of machinery

Part of the Harrison Spinks Group, the company supplies some of the leading names internationally in the markets they supply and are known for their pipeline of groundbreaking technology in these market segments. Sustainability is core to the business and are exploring the use of their components into transportation seating and even footwear, showing the diverse potential the company has to offer. With manufacturing sites in the UK as well as the USA, the company is wanting to expand their global reach further with additional manufacturing sites. As well as their innovative coil technology, the company also supplies wire, natural nonwovens and mattress fabrics which are all manufactured in their facilities in Leeds and Scunthorpe.
Training to be Delivered
- As an Apprentice you will work towards the Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
- The Apprenticeship will be based at Printworks Campus.
- Delivery model will be one day per week in college.
