Animal Care and Land Management is based at the scenic Home Farm at Temple Newsam, allowing students to put theory into practice in a natural environment.

The School of Applied Science prepares future scientists, technicians and researchers for the industry by helping them develop their theoretical and practical knowledge.

The Automotive department offers a range of courses that allow students to accelerate their motor vehicle career.

The Business department prepares tomorrow’s leaders for careers where strategic thinking and business acumen are critical to success.

The Digital and IT department focuses on logical careers in computing, ranging from programmers to database administrators.

The Education and Childcare department prepares students to work in the childcare and education sectors from nursery level up to higher education. 

The Engineering department offers a variety of courses that allow students to excel in mechanical, electrical, electronic, and manufacturing engineering.

ESOL teaches English language for students whose native language isn’t English.

The Events, Enterprise and Employability department allows students to identify their aspirations by enhancing their skills across a broad spectrum of events and enterprise-focused disciplines.

The Food and Drink department offers a range of courses that allow students to train in cookery, bakery, food and beverage service, hospitality and catering, and patisserie and confectionery. 

Foundation Studies is comprised of a bespoke curriculum that promotes independent living, community inclusion, health and wellbeing, and employment opportunities.

The Hair, Beauty and Media Makeup department combines creativity, industry knowledge, practical experience, and people skills to produce qualified experts in the beauty industry.

The Health Science and Social Care department offers a range of professional courses which are supported by hands-on experience through practical learning and local work placements in health and social care.

The Media, Music and Performance Production department caters to all aspects of performance and production encompassing performing arts, technical theatre, journalism, music, and more.

The Public Services department offers public services and military preparation courses that equip students with the skills needed to succeed. 

The Sport Science and Exercise department trains students in practical and theoretical sports knowledge, allowing them to progress their careers as professional players or sports therapists.
