Richard looks after 600 energetic and unique students studying music, musical theatre, journalism, acting, filmmaking dance, music production, and theatre design. He’s been heavily involved in the planning of the new Quarry Hill campus and spends his time talking to neighbours such as Leeds Playhouse, Northern Ballet and Phoenix Dance in the Cultural Quarter in Leeds.
Why I Like Working at LCC
Leeds City College has allowed me to grow in the same way as our students. I started as a theatre technician and 20 years later have been able to help design my own department. In what other job could we go home knowing that someone has better life opportunities because of the work we have done?
