Chef Tutor

I’ve worked in the hospitality and catering industry for 14 years, gaining experience in both front-of-house and kitchen. Having grown up in South East Asia, I’ve competed in many different competitions – such as South Asian Chef – to showcase my love of Asian food, and in 2017 I formed a team with a colleague and student to make it to the quarter-finals of BBC’s Great British Bake Off: Creme de la Creme. I also appeared on Masterchef: The Professionals in 2019.

Alongside my competitive experience, I’ve worked in both outside and event catering, an apprenticeship-run restaurant in Leeds city centre and at Swinton Park Hotel, whilst developing at other Rosette and Michelin star-standard restaurants across the country.
