Ken Morton

Ken worked for over 30 years with Leeds City Council in Education and Children Services – latterly as Head of Service for Young People and Skills with responsibilities for youth services, information, advice and guidance service, and the school arts and music services. Since leaving the council, Ken has advised a partnership of 50+ schools in East Leeds with responsibilities for shaping social, emotional and mental health support services and preventing exclusion. He has also built up a portfolio of volunteer ‘governance’ roles including – Director and Chair of the Brigshaw Learning Partnership (a 6 school multi-academy trust), Governor and Chair of Springwell Leeds, Trustee and Chair of YAMSEN and as a trustee of GIPSIL.
