Karl Jones

Coaching Tutor

Happy chappy, excessive laugher, football fiend.

Karl is a coaching tutor for School of Public Services and acts as a link between tutors and students. He is responsible for providing assignment support, helping students deal with personal issues and being there for students to talk to. He delivers tutorial sessions covering topics such as mental health, healthy eating, online safety, and the Prevent scheme. He also delivers 1:1 sessions, ensuring students are on track with their work.

“Students should consider our courses as we give them the skills needed to work in public services. I enjoy working here and seeing the personal development of students, whether that’s work related or personally. Seeing students go from having confidence issues to making friends and feeling positive motivates me. We give students more than a qualification.”
