Karen Johnson

Head of Enterprise, Employability & Events

Creatively crazy, fiercely loyal, stationery hoarder.

Karen leads an exciting, dynamic team of people who are passionate about the work they do. Alongside the department’s curriculum offer, they also work across the college running projects and events with students from all curriculum departments. This gives students the opportunity to run live music events as well as smaller scale projects. The largest of these is the Enterprise Festival held annually at Trinity Leeds.

“A major highlight for me is working with students and apprentices, enabling them to reach and exceed their potential. We get students leading on internal and external projects and events. This valuable experience improves their skills and enhances their CVs, supporting their progression. To be able to play a key role in this is a brilliant motivator.”
