Jane Colley

Teacher

Dinosaur nerd, Reese’s Pieces devotee, tea connoisseur.

Jane is a School of Land & Animal Sciences teacher and spends her time teaching students how to best care for animals and the environment. Students are supported through a study programme which gives them the industry standard skills needed for a career in animal care. The school works closely with Home Farm at Temple Newsam which is the largest rare-breed farm in the UK so students can work with amazing rare animals.

“Temple Newsam is a beautiful place to work. Our position in the farm and green surroundings really give our learners an engaging atmosphere to study in. Our courses should be considered by anyone hoping to work with animals, where else do you get to see chicks hatch and lambs being born right before your eyes?”
