I have a real passion for developing the workforce of the future and believe apprenticeships are invaluable.
I’ve been part of the hospitality industry for over 25 years – starting as a hotel commis chef, then working my way round every department as a manager, my favourite being conference and banqueting.
Training has always been important to me, right from the start of my career. I was an area trainer for Pizza Hut before getting into adult education and studying my teaching degree. Never in a million years did I think I’d become a teacher when I started off as a commis!
