University Centre students honoured in graduation ceremonies

Graduates from the University Centre at Leeds City College, turned out in their numbers on Saturday to celebrate their successes and achievements.

Over 250 students from across a number of disciplines that include Leadership and Management, Cyber Security and Networking, and Law and Criminal Studies, among others, gained their qualifications.

Adventurer and author, Rosie Swale-Pope, was this year’s keynote speaker and congratulated and encouraged the graduates to pursue their dreams boldly and to never give up.

Principal and CEO at Leeds City College, Colin Booth said: “The University Centre at Leeds City College is committed to ensuring that students get a well-rounded educational experience. It is our aim that students feel inspired, supported and motivated during their courses or degree level apprenticeships.”
