First Steps to Health and Social Care

This is an entry-level course, so whether you’re a beginner, developing your English skills, or wanting to know more about the sector, this course is for you.
Length: 18 weeks

Health and Social Care

This Level 1 certificate provides an excellent introduction to the health and care sector. Over the course, you will learn about the wide range of roles available as well as the fundamentals of working in the sector. Providing an excellent grounding in the sector, this is the ideal way to start your career in care.

Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care

Pave the way to career progression with this Level 2 certificate which focuses on working within adult social care.

This is an entry-level course, so whether you’re a beginner, developing your English skills, or wanting to know more about careers in childcare, this course is for you.

Childcare

This Level 1 certificate is the perfect place to start your journey to a career in childcare.
Length: 30 weeks

Early Years Practitioner

Develop your knowledge and skills with this Level 2 course. Drawing on your experience working in an early years establishment, this course equips you with the knowledge you will need to progress further.
Length: 36 weeks

Early Years Educator

This Level 3 course prepares you for working as an educator in early years. Combining the knowledge you gained at Level 2 and the experience you gained in the workplace, this course develops your skills further so that you can start work with the expertise required and the confidence to succeed.

Teaching assistants provide invaluable support to teachers and children in the classroom and our staff can help support you so you can start your career in this rewarding field.

This is an entry-level course, so whether you’re a beginner, developing your English skills, or wanting to know more about the job role, this course is for you.

Teaching Assistant

This Level 1 certificate provides an excellent starting point on your journey to becoming a teaching assistant.
Length: 18 weeks

Teaching Assistant

Develop your understanding further with this Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate. In order to study this programme you will need work experience within a school or college.
Length: 18 weeks

Teaching Assistant

This Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate will develop your knowledge and skills further, and continue to prepare you for starting work as a teaching assistant. You will need work experience in a school or college setting to study this programme.
Length: 18 weeks

Coaching and Mentoring

This Level 1 course is suitable for anyone interested in coaching and mentoring. Gain understanding of the role of a mentor and learn about the skills required to work as a coach. Completion of this course could lead you to progress to the Level 3 qualification funded under Free Skills for Jobs.
