The Travel and Tourism department is proud to offer impressive facilities to help students receive the very best education experience. These include modern, spacious classrooms to encourage effective learning.

What course types are available?

Our courses are NCFE-certified, meaning they’re viable qualifications recognised by the travel sector. Each programme is designed with current industry standards and requirements in mind, so students are well prepared for their careers.

What progression routes can I take?

The department offers progression routes from Levels 1 to 3. On completion of a Level 3 course, students can continue into higher education with a degree in Tourism and Aviation at University Centre Leeds.

What industry links and partnerships do you have?

We’re proud to partner with the likes of Visit Leeds, Hilton Hotel, Malmaison and Leeds Bradford Airport, and have teamed up with Eurocamp to allow you to work in their European resorts. You’ll also benefit from hearing guest speakers like Emirates, TUI and Drayton Manor Theme Park.

Do I have to wear a uniform?

We’ve developed a contemporary travel and tourism industry-style uniform which you will be required to wear.

Is there any financial support available?

Eligible students can apply for the college bursary, which covers travel passes, college meals, trips and uniforms. Those with children can also apply for a childcare fund to support their studies.

Which campus are you based at?

We’re located at the Printworks Campus on Leeds’ South Bank, just a short walk from the city centre.

We are committed to making sure all students and staff are protected from harm. Every member of staff is trained in safeguarding and child protection, and our dedicated safeguarding team is on hand for advice and support. We are here for you. We will always listen to you.
