This qualification aims to develop your understanding of various wellbeing topics including stress, mental health, sexual health, substance misuse, personal safety, eating disorders and more. By the end of the qualification, you will understand the impact of lifestyle choices and will feel confident with making informed, healthy lifestyle choices.

Fee: Free for unemployed adults who are UK residents. It is available for other adults but charges may apply.

Course Information

This course is suitable for adults aged 19+ and runs fully online so you can study at your own pace. It is particularly suitable for those working in healthcare or education settings, however, it may also be of interest if you would like to increase your confidence with making healthy lifestyle decisions.

Once you have applied, we will carry out a short skills assessment and signpost to other courses if this is not the appropriate course for your needs.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course but you will need basic IT skills.

Career Progression

Progression may include the Understanding Nutrition and Health Certificate Level 2, Awareness of Mental Health Problems Certificate Level 2, Understanding Working with People with Mental Health Needs Certificate Level 2, or Awareness of Dementia Level 2 qualifications.
