Understanding the Safe Handling of Medication in Health and Social Care NCFE CACHE Certificate
This course provides a general understanding of different types of medication
and their use. It is useful for any healthcare professional who may be required
to administer, store or dispose of medication. You will gain knowledge of
relevant legislation and the audit process relating to medication. Additionally,
you’ll explore issues of accountability and the importance of record keeping.
Fee: Free for unemployed adults who are UK residents. It is available
for other adults but charges may apply.
Course Information
This course is suitable for anyone aged 19+ who has access to the internet and an interest in healthcare. There are no formal entry requirements, however, you will need basic IT skills and an interest in healthcare.
Once you have applied, we will carry out a short skills assessment and signpost to other courses if this is not the appropriate course for your needs.
