This qualification will give you a detailed understanding of the key principles of dignity, duty of care and safeguarding. You will explore all of these topics and understand how they can be applied to everyday work contexts. You will also examine the dilemmas that can arise when these principles are not upheld.

Fee: Free for unemployed adults who are UK residents. It is available for other adults but charges may apply.

Course Information

This course runs fully online and is suitable for anyone aged 19+ who has internet access and an interest in adult health and social care. There are no formal entry requirements, however, you will need basic IT skills to complete this online course.

Once you have applied, we will carry out a short skills assessment and signpost to other courses if this is not the appropriate course for your needs.
