The aim of this qualification is to develop your knowledge and understanding of challenging behaviour in a care setting, and what you can do to support positive behaviour. You will learn about the importance of effective communication and the management of challenging behaviour. In addition, you will also understand the role of reflection and support for those involved in incidents of behaviour that challenges. There are no formal entry requirements, but you must be at least 16 years old.
