Understanding Autism Certificate Level 2
This qualification aims to develop your understanding of autism and covers
how to best support individuals with autism. You will study the person-centred
approach and will gain knowledge of sensory processing, perception and cognition
in autistic individuals. Additionally, you will understand how autism affects
communication and social interaction. Fee: Free for unemployed adults who are UK residents. It is available
for other adults but charges may apply.
Course Information
This course is fully online and is suitable for anyone aged 19 or over with an interest in developing their understanding of autism. You will be assessed via projects and tasks and there are no exams. For this course, there are no formal entry requirements but you will need Level 1 English and basic digital skills.
Once you have applied, we will carry out a short skills assessment and signpost to other courses if this is not the appropriate course for your needs.
