This course enables you to work as a teaching assistant or support worker in a school or college. You will undertake voluntary experience in a school one or two mornings a week. The first four weeks of introductory modules are free to all learners. This level 2 part-time course is the National Standards in Supporting Teaching and Learning. You will learn about the role of the teaching assistant as part of a professional team in a school setting.
