Toolmaker
As a toolmaker you will assemble, fitting and repair tools. In addition, you will follow engineering drawings to mark out the design for tools and will assist with tool maintenance and compiling reports.
Pipefitter
As a pipefitter you will install and assemble a variety of metal and non-metal pipes, tubes and fittings. In addition, you will secure pipes to structures and plan installation or repair work.

What will an apprentice gain by the end of the programme?
Apprentices will achieve a qualification which may vary depending on which apprenticeship they have completed. The main benefit for an apprentice is the work experience they gain and the majority and confidence that comes with that. Though there is no guarantee of a job at the end of an apprenticeship, many of our apprentices are kept on for permanent positions, a higher level apprenticeship, or further training by their employers.
