In addition, learners will explore the different sectors, both public and private, and see how they operate and how they are structured. You will explore your own skills and qualities and how these will help you in the business workplace

Benefits / Skills

Learners will gain an understanding of how different organisations operate across both public and private sectors. You will learn how to contribute effectively to the workplace, working with others. You will also learn how to manage their time effectively. Learners will develop skills to identify jobs that match their skills, abilities and experiences and improve their numeracy skills needed in the workplace. Learners will gain an understanding of the ways businesses process sales, complete purchases using the correct documentation and procedures used by the different business sectors.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and maths * - Successful interview

Career Progression

Following successful completion of the course you can progress on to higher level courses within the business school (dependent on English and maths qualifications) including The Business knowledge and skills part time course at level 2/3.
